We have always believed one thing when it comes to volunteering: The more, the merrier.
That’s why we encourage everyone at the agency to take part in our charitable activities. Not only does it increase our impact in the community, but it also creates a sense of family and belonging among our employees — which helps us to work better for you.
And today, I'm thrilled to announce that our volunteer efforts have paid off in a BIG way. Safeco Insurance has named us as a recipient of the All-In Make More Happen Award, an honor created specifically for agencies that get people involved.
The award is more than just recognition, however; Safeco is providing a $3,000 donation on our behalf to Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay, a non-profit organization that provides a series of business, economics, free-enterprise and life-skills programs to enhance the education of young people.
Each year Quorum team members devote countless hours to volunteer opportunities with JA of Tampa Bay. We support the organization by conducting in-classroom training of various JA programs to middle and high school students in our community.
We are very proud to be selected as one of just 14 agencies to receive this award, of course. But we’re even more proud of the impact our employees have on our community. This honor is truly a reflection of how much they care.
